- These LEDs require 2 Volts at a limited current of 20mA to operate.
It is important to limit the current flowing into an LED, which is typically done by connecting a resistor in series with it. This particular 3V LED product does not come with resistors included and is designed for custom installations where the LED will be powered by a source that limits the current.
The Resistor Chart Image lists recommended resistors for this LED at various voltages to match your project's requirements. - Flashing / Blinking LEDs can not be dimmed. Starving the internal chip of sufficient power may have adverse effects.
