In all honesty, at first I wasn't happy but it turns out it was mostly my fault. The guys here went above and beyond to explain things to me and walk me through the problem. The lighting system where each of the lightening system components simply plug together is ideal; no soldering is ideal. I am working on my first train layout so lightening building is something i has never done. But these components made it. I came here based on a mention on “Coffee and Trains”. I bought the pro set and a couple extra lights. First off, the packaging is superb. Quality, good looking box, and I love the ziplock bags that the individual items are in. Everything works and is very straight forward and easy to use. Ample wire length for the lights, it’s perfect for my layout. The plug removal tool is great. Plus, free shipping over 49 dollars. Really pleased.

This has got to be the best lighting product for modeling. The Pro Starter pack has gotten me off to a great start for my N scale Christmas “Santa’s” Village which is being built for my wife as a special project and tribute to her mom and sister. Very easy to use, many options and configurations available. Great customer service when questions arise. I can focus on the creative aspects of the project and quickly set up the lighting. All the guesswork has been done by Dioramo. So grateful for their product line.

36 gauge wires are thin and flexible - perfect for z scale. The problem with most "thin" wire is the insulation. This wire's insulation is super thin. Used it to "daisy chain" MTL locomotives. The wire stripper works perfectly, too. And, yes, I tested the wire before installing it permanently. It carried the current without heating up. The A-B-A set now runs without jerking, even across the turnouts.

I was very satisfied about the quality but the light that was the free gift was not the best because the protective film on the 3m adhesive pad would not come off no matter how hard I tried
